Meditation Audio Downloads
Here are a few tips for using these meditation audio downloads. Remember that you are learning the skill of focusing the mind, and you will get better at this with practice. Don't try to make anything happen; just allow and observe. It is perfectly normal for your mind to wander. That is why audio can be helpful - listening to the meditation script helps to bring your attention back to the exercise at hand. Whenever your mind wanders, just bring it back to the meditation exercise. Be kind to yourself! Remember that when your mind wanders, it means that you have a normal, active, thinking brain. It does NOT mean that you are doing something wrong.
Daily meditation practice is ideal, and this will be the best way to experience all the benefits of meditation and the relaxation response. Start small. If meditation is difficult, just meditate for a couple of minutes. Work up to longer meditation sessions. Most people find that 10 to 20 minutes of meditation is a long time.
