I would like to thank the listeners who have contacted me with ideas for relaxation podcast topics. Please continue to submit your requests. You can

Show notes for podcast on October 12, 2008: Update for InnerHealthStudio.com Listen here:
All of the latest updates to my site will be posted on the Inner Health Studio Blog, along with new podcasts, and any show notes for episodes that need them. Show notes will be archived on this page - relaxation updates.
I will be recording higher quality versions of the existing podcasts. What I plan to do is alternate between brand new content and remastered versions of old podcasts. So next week I will re-post a better quality version of one of the previous podcasts, and the episode for the week after will be something entirely new.
I invite my listeners to give feedback on my podcasts and website. Thank you to those of you who have written to me with suggestions - I really appreciate your ideas. It helps to know what works and does not work for you, and to get ideas about what kinds of relaxation techniques you would like to try and what relaxation updates you want to see on this site.
I would really like some feedback on the sound quality of the new microphone. Does this new microphone sound alright and does it sound better than the old one?
Another question I have: would it be helpful to have some relaxation scripts recorded to music? And if so, what type of music?
Please write to me with any comments, feedback, or ideas at podcast at innerhealthstudio.com. When you contact me it will be necessary to whitelist your email to get through. Your first email will bounce back, and once you click on the link in the bounced back email and whitelist your address, you will always be able to get through to me. This is just to prevent spam. If you want to contact me without using email, just use the contact us form by clicking on the "contact" nav bar at left (or by clicking the permalink associated with these shownotes).
I would like to introduce my new e-zine, also entitled "Relaxation by Inner Health Studio." The fist edition will be coming out in November, and it will contain information about relaxation techniques and coping skills. This email newsletter will also include a question and answer column, in which I invite my listeners to submit questions about relaxation, coping skills, stress management, or everyday living. So if you would like advice about how to cope with stress or effectively do the things that are important to you.... please write to me. You can reach me at advice at innerhealthstudio.com, or use the "contact us" form.
I am an occupational therapist, specializing in mental health. My focus in responding to your questions is occupational performance. What this means, is that I look at occupations as being anything you do to occupy your time; that is, anything that you need or want to do. So basically what I look at is your ability to live the life that is important and meaningful to YOU. Please write to me with any questions you may have about living your life and being able to function at your best... mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Last question: would you like to have periodic podcast updates, or would you prefer to just read all of the updates on my blog?
Thanks to everyone who listens to my podcasts, and thank you for visiting the Inner Health Studio Blog!
