Autogenics to Reduce Blood Pressure

Autogenic relaxation is a good technique to reduce blood pressure. By imagining that your hands and feet are warm and heavy, blood vessels open up, and blood pressure decreases. In addition, heart rate slows, which also reduces blood pressure.

A few minutes of deep breathing while imagining warmth and heaviness in your hands and feet right before you have your blood pressure taken might help.
